-- Museum of Musical Instruments Dreadnoughts

Named after a certain class of battleship, dreadnought guitars are distinguished by their large bodies and the equally big sound they deliver. Fancy Martin dreadnought guitars were custom-ordered, one-of-a-kind instruments until the company introduced the D-45 in 1938. This guitar has an F-9 style neck similar to the 1938 sunburst D-45 shown the Rebels and Rolling Stones Collection.
