Shaded top Martins are the most collectible flat-tops ever created. They are beautiful and rare and offer the best in aesthetics and engineering. This instrument is the finest example of an original pre-war shaded-top D-28 in existence. Note the herringbone back stripe used on many of the shaded top D-28s built in the late 1930s.
