The F-4 was the top of the line 3-point mandolin, built by Gibson in the early 20th century. The headstock inlay is spectacular utilizing an Art Nouveau torch design inlaid into the headstock. The blonde varnish top has exceptional color and foreshadows blonde guitars made during the late 1930s.
